If so how often?

I have a stock I like a lot very aggressive new company buying their own shares back by the millions, but only trades at .13 right now. Lots of stuff in the hopper for them

I'm sure some of you have heard storys like this 100 times

How often is a penny stock a huge success story?!

I guess the trump penny stock did well not too long ago, I saw a guy said he made 632,000$ at another forum but I dont know the details. other than the original ticker symbol no longer exists.

Money is not made on penny stocks by holding them and hoping for a miracle Rob.Flipping them as they make moderately relative head way is the key and moving into new ones. Not easy.

Thanks Base. Just trying to learn.

I guess something like Microsoft or Google only happens once every 5 years or so.

Google was no penny stock though, opened around 88 so you had to have some bucks to have cleaned up on it.

Penny stocks are at the penny level for a reason. Can they ever get into the dollars? Yes, but most penny stocks have a better chance of going to zero.
You are better off buying futures on the Knicks.

If you invested $10,000 in Dell back in the early 90's you would be a billionaire right now.

The Dell stock split some 10 times. More than Microsoft even (9 times).

Opened at less than a dollar, well of course everyone knows Dell regularly trades millions of shares a day. At 21 something a pop, and this is after 10 splits!

There well be another Dell someday, but whom?

Back in the early 90's I think I was just done losing my first 10k gambling. Time machine anyone?

Another good one, Hansens Natural Soda I think if not the fastest growing stock of the last 10 years one of them, who would have guessed.
Whole Foods another big one, if you can find a new Organic foods or store stock that is low grab it, and tell me about it as well so I can to.

The story behind them started because of short selling and naked shorting of HANS. That's what made them run-up and continue to run-up. Their stock did not simply go up because they were or are a good company. If you read about the company you will see that a massive short covering was what initially triggered the price run-up.

Also you should check out http://www.hotstockmarket.com if you are interested in penny stocks to include OTC/OTCBB.
